The grade is a summary; the description is the promise. Here is how we use the words.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Fine and Near Fine<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fine means as close to new as an old book can be. Near Fine allows the very smallest signs of age, the kind you have to look for.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Very Good and Good<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Very Good is a handsome copy with some wear we will always name: a sunned spine, bumped corners, a little foxing. Good is a sound, complete copy that has clearly been read and loved.<\/p><blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If a fault is there, it is in the description.
